Best Time to Fly to the Philippines

Best Time to Fly to the Philippines Best Time to Fly to the Philippines

With its year round hot and humid climate, any time is good to visit the Philippines - although the weather does still vary from season to season.

November to April:

The dry season (known as amihan) runs from November to April and is considered the best time to visit the Philippines. Inside of this time, January and February are the coolest months of the year, making them ideal for travelling around the country in. Towards the end of the dry season, from March to May, the sun shines all day long and temperatures begin to rise towards a balmy 35°C.

May to October:

The wet season (known as habagat) runs from May to October, with higher humidity and short, intense downpours of rain. Although known as the monsoon season, there is still a lot of sunshine to be found and it usually only rains for a very short amount of time each day - and not even every day!
